The Penguin Debates

On November 3-5, The UM Debate Team traveled to San Rafael, California (10 miles north of San Francisco) to compete in the Penguin Debates hosted by Dominican University of California.  UM’s three British Parliamentary teams competed well, narrowly missing the cut into semifinals against competition from The University of California, Berkeley, Claremont College, Pepperdine, Cal Poly, Humbolt State, and The University of Mississippi.
